The Anti Diva: How Can WWE Book Paige Properly?

How can WWE keep the momentum going for one of UK’s greatest’s exports?

Paige debuted on the main roster on the April 7th 2014 episode of Monday Night Raw the night after WrestleMania XXX (30) answering the open challenge by then Divas champion AJ Lee and became the youngest Divas champion at the age of 21 years she also became the only woman to hold the Divas Champion and the NXT Women’s championship at the same time, but was stripped of the NXT Women’s Championship after she moved to the main roster and won the Divas Championship.
I felt Paige was the Anti Diva up until March 2015 when she joined the cast of the E! reality television show Total Divas which had the likes of The Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie), Naomi, Eva Marie, Alicia Fox those who are your typical divas in the way that they appear in in the WWE.
With Paige joining the cast to the fans the whole Anti Diva gimmick came to an end as on the show Paige was all cheerful, bubbly and is seen talking about stereotypical girl things. Although different from the other divas in appearance her involvement in the show has shown a much more cheery, happy side to Paige.
On July 13th edition of Monday Night Raw, Stephanie McMahon called for a ‘ Revolution’ in the Diva’s division and introduced the debuting Becky Lynch and Charlotte aligning themselves with Paige and forming the trio known as ‘PCB’ (Paige, Charlotte, Becky) and then NXT Women’s champion Sasha Banks.  Banks aligning her with Naomi and Tamina forming ‘Team BAD’ (Beautiful And Dangerous) as a way of evening the numbers against Team Bella (Nikki, Brie and Alicia Fox).
The three teams faced off in an elimination tag match with ‘PCB’ getting the victory with Becky Lynch pinning Brie Bella for the victory. For me this was the best Diva’s match that I had seen on the main roster in a long time, I hadn’t seen an interesting and exciting Diva’s match since  Paige vs AJ Lee.
After Charlotte won the Diva’s Championship from Nikki Bella ending Nikki’s reign as champion of 301 days, with Nikki being the longest reigning Divas Champion surpassing AJ Lee’s reign of 295 days.
on the September 21st Monday Night Raw the day after the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View(PPV), Paige began to show signs of a Heel turn as she shouted at Charlotte  saying how the only reason she got to where she is in the company is because of her father, Charlotte’s father being ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair and proceeded to insult Becky Lynch and fellow Divas Natalya who tried to talk to Paige about her actions.
On November 2nd Paige won a Fatal 4 Way match on Raw involving  Becky Lynch, Brie Bella and Sasha Banks  thus becoming the number one contender to face Charlotte for the Divas Championship at the Survivor Series PPV on November 22nd.
*This is  how I would now book Paige from now*
I would have Charlotte retain the title by gaining as disqualification victory over Paige, the end of the match would be Paige hit charlotte with the Ram Paige DDT, as she goes for the pinball Charlotte grabs the ropes. Paige in a fit of rage locks in the ‘PTO (Paige Tap Out) submission move, with Charlotte wrapped around the ropes the referee counts to five and Paige doesn’t release the hold thus getting herself disqualified.
The Raw after Survivor Series, Paige comes out and starts cutting cryptic promos similar to how Bray Wyatt cuts promos. Paige goes on to say how she IS The Diva’s Revolution and how she WILL BE Divas Champion again.
Paige begins a vicious winning streak defeating the likes of Becky Lynch, Natalya, Alicia Fox, Brie Bella and getting a non title victory over Charlotte, winning all her matches by submission and defeating Charlotte via count out as she Charlotte lands badly after jumping off the top rope aiming for Paige who is on the outside, and then gets laid out with the Paige Turner  leaving Charlotte on lying on the outside of the ring to be counted out. Paige then locks Charlotte in the PTO before being chased up the ramp by Becky Lynch and Natalya.
Paige continues to cut cryptic promos. Which catches the attention eventually of Bray Wyatt, and he along with the rest of the Wyatt Family, appear on the top of the ramp in the shadows then appear in the ring after a blackout, and Bray tells Paige he feels her pain about being pushed out of the spotlight  and that Sister Abigail continues to show him the way of fear. He then beckons to Paige to join him and the Wyatt Family.
Paige then walks towards him with her arms out, then another black out and when the lights come up, Paige is left alone in the ring. She then begins appearing on commentary during Bray Wyatt or The Wyatt Family’s matches about talks about Bray being onto something and how his ideology is spot on and it is what the WWE need, they need to embrace fear.
The next episode on Raw, the Wyatt’s are in the ring, and Bray cuts a promo, and then informs the crowd that they have found a new soul that Sister Abigail has guided this person the way.  Theres a blackout, and the lights come up and there is a person stood in front of the Waytts  and the person continues to remove their hood, and reveals it to be none of than Paige.

The Crowd react positively to this, as Paige has joined The Wyatt Family, as the months pass, Paige and Bray form a Harley Quinn and Joker type relationship. Rowan and Harper win the tag titles, Paige eventually wins the Divas title, and the Wyatt Family once again become a dominant force in the WWE, and thus begins The Fear Era in the WWE.
